Taught by Jennifer Hay, this 3-day course is a comprehensive introduction to nanoindentation. Lectures cover fundamental measurements and analyses for semi-static, oscillatory, and rapid nanoindentation. With an onsite KLA nanoindenter, students will practice changing tips, calibrating the area function, testing representative samples, and scripting test methods.  Class size is limited to 12 people. Taught by Jennifer Hay, this 2-day online course is a comprehensive introduction to inView Method Editor—the software by which users customize inView test methods for novel experiments with any KLA nanoindenter. By working through many practical exercises, students learn how to define calculations, test procedure, and output.
