Taught by Jennifer Hay, this 3-day course, held at the University of Tennessee’s Institute for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing (IAMM), provides a comprehensive introduction to nanoindentation. Lectures cover fundamental measurements and analyses for semi-static, oscillatory, and rapid techniques. Using an onsite KLA nanoindenter, students will practice tip changes, area function calibration, sample testing, and scripting test methods. Class size is limited to 12. Download a brochure.
