Applied Nanometrix, LLC offers a quarterly verification service to ensure that your nanoindenter is always ready for testing. In most cases, verification is done remotely with minimal disruption to regular operation.
Finite-Element Sims of Indentation Experiments
Finite-element simulations help make sense of complex nanoindentation experiments. Applied Nanometrix, LLC runs batches of simulations, permuting any input, to predict constraint effects, test analytic models, or design experiments.
Nanoindentation Class: Sept. 16-18, 2026
This 3-day course, held at the University of Tennessee’s Institute for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing (IAMM), provides a comprehensive introduction to nanoindentation. Lectures cover fundamental measurements and analyses for semi-static, oscillatory, and rapid techniques. Using an onsite KLA nanoindenter, students will practice tip changes, area function calibration, sample testing, and scripting test methods. Class size is limited to 12.
